Q:
How transmute trait works?
A:
Tested. Say if you get hit by 6 stacks of bleeding, now you get 5 stacks of bleed and one boon. Kinda lackluster.
the first condition you get is gonna be converted into a boon and the effect has a cooldown of 15 sec. haven’t tried yet but it should work
The first incoming condition – whatever it is, be it a single stack of bleeding, five of confusion or 10s of burning – gets converted; other stacks of the same conditions already applied aren’t affected.
And i’ve been saying it was terrible since the change was proposed, anyway. Cause we have no control upon it, and it isn’t a sort of passive condition defense unlike before.
It is kind of a minor trait which pushes one to leave Alchemy. This effect is so underpowerd. ridiculous.
The effect is a little weaker than other traits/skills like “remove a condition every ten seconds,” but not much. And it’s a minor trait while the others are utilities/major traits.
The cooldown becomes exponentially more effective the less you get hit. In other words, if you get hit by 35 conditions in 15 seconds, it’s useless. If you get hit by 15 conditions in 15 seconds, it’s mediocre. If you only get hit by 5 conditions in 15 seconds, it’s extremely powerful.
What does that mean? It is very strong in PvE in general, decent in most small PvP/WvW skirmishes, and useless in a zerg.
