Im just letting this one slide since im enjoying the new gms and mostly fixed turrets. The good really outweights the bad in this patch.
plus you can still achieve 100%- condition duration, you will hit like a wet noodle but youcan ddoit

well just for pve and fun pvp
but for wvw turrets who cant move are only pain for raid or capping
detonate turrets every time put them in cooldown when u need it

There was a huge amount of noob QQ.
It’s a great change.
The noob QQ is the reason why it was nerfed. Timing condition bursts is too hard a concept for many people. Better spam skills at random.
And “a great change” would have seeing it changed to something that would still have been useful. Like, removing conditions on toolbelt use.
This is just a redux of the kit refinement situation – a trait made so useless that almost no one bothers with it.
We’ve been talking about it for weeks since the change was announced.
Now everyone is actually playing & experimenting with the changes.

Hmm i think its still a very good trait, the 33% trheshold is a lot often reached then the 25%. 100% was just plain OP. You were letterly immortal for a lot of condi builds.
50% at least doesnt make you immortal to condi, but at 33% hp its not so hard to fall back and recovver shaking off those condi easely.
Well, here is my question. Did the change to AR cause it to take effect on condition already on you, or does it still only apply to conditions being applied after it takes effect?
Before: hit 25% in a pile of grief, wipes condis, chance of surviving if no huge lag in wvw.
Now: hit 33%, pile of grief still there, downed before condis end .

AR will not help you with “falling back and recovering” as it does not affect conditions that are already ticking, only those apllied when below 33% life.
If you get hit with stacked conditions below 33% it does not matter if they last 5 or 10 seconds, you’re dead if you can’t remove them.
And if you can remove them, it does not matter if they would have lasted 5 or 50 seconds. Therefore AR is completely useless now.
It was only useful for very specific builds anyway but as it is now, if you’re going 30 Alchemy there are much stronger traits to pick. And most of them aren’t even Grandmaster…
If they made it a 50% condition damage reduction (similar to ranger’s Bark Skin) it would at least be useful for some builds.

It is sad it got nerfed. Unfortunately though it was a positive change in the games current state. Before it wasn’t a problem and no one cared because there was no condition meta. ANET created the condition meta themselves and this trait basically became OP because that’s all everyone was running. With enough QQ and this condi meta this trait was screwed. It’s just sad to me how much condition cleanse and utility we have lost over time and got nothing on par in return. Flamethrower cleanses, KIt refinement, swapping kits in elixir S, elixir S nerf, P/S 5 nerf, stun breaker nerfs, transmute nerf, AR nerf, IP nerf, could actually go on for a while but you get the idea
