Anyone noticed that Toss Elixir U sometimes does nothing? Are the devs aware of this? Because I really really enjoy this spell now as it provides some great utility function now that it reliably does 1 thing (protect against missiles), but not if is going to fizzle every now and then.

It’s been doing this for some time.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be that repeatable. However, I believe one cause of this is due to jumping. If you jump in the air as the tossed elixir hits the ground, nothing will happen. I haven’t explicitly tested this, but I think that may be the cause (or at least one of the causes). It’s the same thing that happens with elixir X not taking effect when it activates while you’re in the air. I think this sort of issue is linked to the actual game engine, so it’s probably harder for them to fix, but that’s just a guess. I’d assume they’re aware of it.

I’ve also noticed that drinking the elixir will sometimes put it on cooldown but not provide any effect whatsoever. It’s not because I was interrupted or anything either, it just does nothing. I haven’t tried it much since the update to see if that bug was still there, but it was happening on occasion over the last month.

I noticed this as well. It’s happened to me twice, both times the cooldown was popped and I had gained no effects.

I didn’t think about that combo. Toss U and Drink U = nice rapid fire while effectively being immune to projectiles from the other side of the wall.

The drop in quickness attack speed is a bit of a letdown, though.

Sometimes when you jump skills fail to finish working properly. Don’t jump. This might not be the case here, but be wary of it.

It fails to do anything sometimes for no reason! but does activate the cooldown!

Fixed in the new patch (it says I haven’t tested it cos I’m playing WoW).
