Underwater Grenade Stealth Change?
Nades are trash underwater now. As a condi engineer, I have no idea how to damage targets underwater. Best I can come up with is elixir gun autoattack.

Yah, it seems that at any given time underwater 1 grenade will be aimed at your target and 1 (or I guess 2 if you have the 3 grenade toss trait) will just fly off in any random direction(s).
Its rather odd. It worked perfectly before. I know the patch notes mentioned some change to underwater grenade kit, but that was supposed to be a fix for some bug. I hardly think grenades actually aiming at your opponent is a “bug” to be fixed. So I can only assume that in the process of fixing whatever bug they mentioned (something about grenades double-exploding underwater, though I’d never noticed it personally) they managed to screw up the targeting as well. Hopefully they’ll fix that sometime in the near future.

They changed underwater nades quite a long time ago, as far as I recall? I think it was back around the sigil change/30% AA damage reduction.
Underwater barrage is hilarious – you are more likely to hit your target by aiming at them with your buttocks.

True, but I don’t think the regular ’nade kit skills were ever really inaccurate. The barrage skill statement is still true though.

Actualy due to notes there was bug underwater where every grenade explode twice instead of once. Why it was noticed by devs after almost 2 years is myth for me:-)

It drives me nut when I jump in the water and realize all my skills in a current build are locked out. Forcing me to use different skills underwater that I have no traits for what so ever.
I just wish we had a few trait presets for land and water, like 2-3 for both.

October 2017 patch note: “Fixed grenade kit targeting while underwater.” (New bug: Grenades pass straight through target without exploding. Devs don’t take notice for another four years.)
