I recently returned to gw2 after around a year off. I noticed my armor slot are all empty, so I want some advice on what I should use in them.

I’m a bomber/ grenade engineer and go for toughness, power, etc.

I’m looking at the Superior Rune of the Brawler, but wanted some opinions before committing.

Also, does the rune of the brawler might stack? Like if I have it on all slots + enhance performance trait, will all that might stack?

First you should tell us about your playstyle. Leave some basics like if it’s for WvW or PvE. You want some condis or rather direct damage, which weapons etc. etc.

All sources of might stacks up to 25. But for direct damage (both in WvW and PvE) it’s pretty bad. So far one of the best ones is Rune of Strength, but pretty expensive – around 100g/set.
And yes, then you would get 6 stacks of might per healing skill use, tho the one from traits would last longer.

thx for the reply. I play mostly using bombs against normal mobs, grenades against bosses. Rarely use a rifle when i’m lazy.

And I have nowhere near that much gold. I have a stockpile of materials though, including ecto i could sell

Maybe rune of Privateer will be cheaper alternative – especially for PvE.

I wouldn’t bother with runes other than the ones you salvage from masterwork/rare items until you get exotic armor.

The cheapest option would the Superior Rune of the Flame Legion; with Bomb Kit #2 and the bonus from 6 Explosives and the rune set itself foes will be burning (almost) constantly, giving you the 7% damage boost. 6-7 runes (one for your under water head gear) cost less than 1g the last time I checked.

It is Fire Bomb. The second weapons skill that appears when you arm the kit.
