So there’s quite a few toolbelt skills that are not affected by reduced recharges, especially racials. I can understand racials being difficult to balance and kept intentionally weak, but toolbelt skills are a class design, not racial based. We need reduced cd’s on them. Also the toss elixers are not affected by reduced elixer cd traits.
I know that it says “reduces the recharge of elixer skills” and not “elixer toolbelt skills” so it comes down to a little bit of nitpicking, but I still think it should affect them (perhaps with a cap on recharge reduction for them in the event someone goes full into tools line so that they aren’t getting insane-recharge elixers lol). Just my 2 cents. I think toolbelt needs more love in general, and pretty sure they mentioned somethign about wanting to do more with it so being hopeful for the future.

The Elixir recharge trait also doesn’t affect the Elixir Gun’s Elixir skills. Not actually sure why they bothered to tag those skills with it.

First off, read farther in, but if you really want me to list them:

  • Every racial toolbelt skill is exempt from toolbelt recharge reduction from the trait line
  • Elixer skills in the toolbelt are not affected by elixer reduction trait (this includes all toolbelt elixer skills) and as someone noted, it doesn’t affect elixer gun either, but that’s prob because those skills aren’t actually listed as an Elixer I realized right after I wrote that I was wrong lol. #4 and #5 are both indeed listed in the tooltip as an elixer.
  • I know there was a bug for a little while where mine field wasn’t being affected by traits properly, not sure if that every got fixed or not (not necessarily recharges, because the toolbelt skill doesn’t specify them to be gadgets so gadget traits most likely won’t apply, but the should still qualify as explosions for the purpose of explosion traits.)
