12/14/12 Patch Notes
AH was OP. It was nerfed. Makes sense to me.
I think most would agree with this, AH was OP with VP the way it was and it did need a nerf. However they went way overboard with how much they nerfed it (which seems to happen a lot) – and that’s the issue.
They could have simply tried a slight adjustment like 2 seconds or even 2.5 seconds BUT nope, they went strait to 5 seconds.

pls on Christmas i want nerf on my hp its too high, 14.5k hp you must nerf it to 8k and i will be pleased to play with it. Dying like Jesus for my comrades, thats the way of the guardian, Semper Fi !
Just throwing this out around here

Burn duration only lasts for 4 seconds for 4 tics of damage instead of 5 as indicated in the tooltip.
- Nov 15th patch notes
Empower: This skill’s might duration increased from 8 seconds to 10 seconds.
( only tool tip got updated, but it never lasted 10 seconds)
- Dec 14th patch notes
Empower: Skill fact has been updated to display the proper amount and duration of might. ( 8 seconds)

would someone like to post this monks focus build… and also what ability/triat gives us the chance to dodge more? i run AH build and always dead on endurance for dodge.
I’m not really worried about the change to Vigorous precision as I am to some of the other issues we have. I’d still like a viable range weapon, access to cripples and stuns, more mobility for gods sake, and a way to utilize my conditions more. As it stands, Guardians MUST have either Monk’s Focus or Altruistic healing in any build. Don’t do this and you will get destroyed pretty quickly(due to low health).
I was also hoping that Arena net would of done something more with the traits such as consolidating the symbol traits in the Honor tree. As of right now I utilize all three in dungeons and i’m able to keep myself/teammates alive. And with the recent nerfs to our ability to apply boons, i’d like to see a change. Maybe something a little more defensive since our damage hasn’t increased.
Yep.. thanks for ruining my class Anet. I had an AH/EM setup which is now useless.

Stowing my main (guardian) until someone from Anet says something bout this.
I have endured and kept changing build for each major nerf on each patch because I love playing as a guardian but this really gimps my AH/EM build to the ground. I do not see how AH on vigor is OP as we need to tank and hit mobs to get the heals. With most warriors going full DPS these days mobs will always aim for the guardian and with the healing efficiency from AH halved, its better to just roll a warrior watch high 100b numbers and have 3 shouts for 3 big heals.

There are lots of MF builds. I like these 2:

The 5 in honor allows us to dodge more. A lot more than other classes. If you really like dodging put an energy sigil in your weapon too.
