Allpa Guardian (WWW All-around build)
Hello again everyone. It’s Blasino. If you haven’t seen my two previous builds they are the Nina Guardian (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Nina-Guardian-WWW-build/first#post1423878) and the Kawsay Guardian (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Kawsay-Guardian-WWW-Support-Build/first#post1438087). This will probably be the last build I post for a while.
So quick quechua lesson, Allpa means Ground. The idea of this build is basically you are a rock. By no means am I trying to invent something new here as there are plenty of guardian builds that have a similar style to this build. Also, I have not play tested this build as I am concentrating on the Kawsay build. Again, I welcome players suggestions and criticisms bearing in mind this isn’t a fully optimized build. Wait, not optimized? Not min/maxed? Why am I posting this build?
First, there are new players who venture into 80 that do not have the resources that some of us have to blow on high-end gear. The best thing about this build is most of it is obtainable through karma and through the AC dungeon. It does not use the best or most expensive runes/sigils, or consumables. Second, there are people who do not like complicated. They want something straightforward. I try and bring that with the Allpa. You soak damage and you deal damage.
I present the Allpa Guardian.

Condition Removal – Passive: Purity, SoR / Active: None, but you decrease duration by 56%, you still have two stun breaks
Possible changes:
1) If you can afford it you can use Superior Runes of the Soldier instead with Mango Pie
2) You can take 10 out of Honor and put it into Virtues and select Vengeful
3) You can use Shelter instead of Signet of Resolve.
To obtain the gear:
1) Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, Legs, Boots, Back, Amulet, Rings, Accessories can be bought from the temple Karma vendors. If the temple is not unlocked on your server you can guest on another server for free that could have it unlocked.
Grenth – Shoulders, Boots, Back, Amulet, Rings, and Accessories
Zephyrs – Shoulders, Gloves
Balthazar – Legs
Melandru – Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, Legs
Lyssa – Boots
Narthex – Chest, Boots
2) Helm, Greatsword, and Hammer can be bought with Ascalonian Catacombs tokens by running the Ascalonian Dungeon. The daily per path will net you 60 tokens. In one run of all the paths for the day you will receive 180 (not including additional dropped tokens) which is enough for your helm. The weapons will take a longer as they need a total of 780 tokens.
3) You can craft or purchase the exquisite beryls, food, and stones. You can purchase the sigils and runes. The runes will be the most expensive items for this build.
Gameplay:
Fairly straightforward. You are very durable so you do not have to worry about getting hit, or actively remove conditions. You will primarily use your greatsword as hitting with it heals you for a small amount of 25hp. Using your shouts will also heal you through the boons they provide and the trait Altruistic Healing.
When you really want to smack the enemy hard, switch to your hammer and hit mighty blow. With the sigil of intelligence you will have a nice AOE attack.
If you see you are loosing a lot of health and your heals are used up, hit Stand Your Ground, Tome of Courage, than Light of Deliverance to get back to full health. I would drop the tomb and get back to fighting.
Have fun with it!
