Q:
Asura Guardian dye selection
On an asura, does it really matter?
Try Blue Ice, Silt, and Butter.
Also the preview screen uses a very dull lightbox, – most gloss effects don’t show up at all until you see it “in the world”
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Ah, you make a good point, Nike.
And Manticore – spoken like a true Bookah.
Sometimes, that’s a point of pride :P
I’ll tell you what I went with and like a lot. I’ve always liked Ash for basic armor and on the T3 Icing for the trim. I suppose Celestial would work great for trim but the price is prohibitive. For the Guardian blue accents the starter Stream works well or perhaps Breeze. I think the Asura guardian in T3 is a great looking and a variety takes on the dyes work very well.
When you actually equip the armor and look at your character it will have that mirror-like finish. Previewing and looking through the hero panel don’t show what you will actually look like.
For that particular color, you could just try silver, with some light blue color for the crystals and the lights
Dust, Silt, and Sky are the colors on the T3 pieces. Unfortunately, if your T3 armor is transmuted, those colors will not stick if you place them in that order. They will default to dye remover for some reason.

On my guardian (T2 cultural armor) i am currently using celestial and river to give it a few shiny blue spots. Might be switching to another blue but it looks nice currently. Before getting my celestial i was using Icing which is way cheaper but also looks nice despite being a little dull compared to celestial.
On preview those colors also looked nice on T3. Just a little too expensive for me ^^
