Just a suggestion, I’m not saying guardian greatsword is weak or something, but what if the DoT from binding blades would be changed to either:
Choice 1: Applies burning periodically, much like spear of justice.
Choice 2: Gets replaced by a ‘strike’ (can crit, apply sigil effects, on-hit traits, etc)

The DoT on binding blade seems odd and also very insignificant (even for a condi build). I’d like either of your changes but think Choice 2 makes more sense since the animation is that of chains wrapping around the target which can arguably be seen as physical.

It honestly is a main reason I don’t use GS; I’m a GS guy I make it work on Ranger, use it whenever it’s able. But since update sword > for me over GS. And I love sword too. GS still is great bursty but not due to the 5 skill. It can have PvP uses tho, u play it for the bind and pull – but yeah, I would like to see it adjusted then. The burning dot is like – why dont I just use a torch :P
