I think the change to Purging Flames will make it pretty strong in PvE given the increased removal and duration reduction. However, I am not sure what to think of the other two:

Hallowed Ground – nice long lasting fire field and stability but less useful vs knockbacks than SYG since it cannot be triggered as frequently and it does not cast instant or break stun.

Sanctuary – the heal is decent and the few seconds of hiding place can buy precious time for CDs to finish but the excessively long cooldown on this skill makes it hard to use. It simply isn’t a big enough heal or a long enough effect for the wait.

Obviously WoR is good, no need to discuss it really. Does anyone have an opinion on what consecrations are worth using and when? Can’t decide if it’s better to run shouts, consecrations, meditations.

As long as we don’t get a trait like ‘’enemies struck with consencrations and wards are dealt damage’’ or something; WoR and Sanctuary (in spvp) are the only useful ones. I think PF will be viable in PvE, and for bunker guards; but HG really needs a good rework.

I think properly traited consecrations are actually pretty nice. I would like to see something done to sanctuary, but idk what could be done without making it too op. It’s already powerful, but it seems to be missing something. Heal scaling maybe? idk. The only consecration (and I see other share my thoughts on it) that needs some work is HG. Fairly long cd, hard to get off in time, and too positional to always be useful, especially in pve when standing still (even if it’s in a field of stability) usually gets you killed.

As for your conundrum of what to run, it doesn’t hurt to mix them up some. On occasion I’ll run 1 shout with the rest consecrations, or 1 consec with meditations, ect. It really just depends on your build and role. Obviously shouts are more mobile, but have shorter durations. Consecrations are suited well for hunkering down in a spot for defense. If you’re in tight quarters, or have no plans of going very far, they seem to thrive. meditations, for me anyway, seem to be the glue between the two. They seem to mix in well with them, and while I know there are some prettypowerful all-meditation builds out there, when I consider the synergy of all 3 categories of these utilities, it just makes more sense to me to use them as a compliment to the other 2 rather than a full build of them ( I guess they would work good with signets too, but not really discussing those right now).
