Multiple little mistakes like not covering my mantras or big casts with stab and not using f2 for effective condi clears. But hey, two days isn’t much time to get more than a feel for what works!

Big cast times, wonky range, and unnecessary gating behind extra CDs are what really hurts FB, i hope they get a chance to really look at them before release and make adjustments. Still a lot of potential with FB and it was a blast to try out!

I have to watch the vid when I get home later this evening but to add, I feel FB is a very capable spec in Ranked queue for sure. I never felt the spec couldn’t achieve a Plat level rating.

That said, I 1v1’d Wars (albeit a close fight)when I don’t feel that should be possible on high level play. So although I consider myself a good player on the elite spec, there’s a lot of other players who are still learning theirs.

When the patch hit mid season I may have the advantage but it’ll be interesting to see how FB fairs once everyone is on the same page (no pun intended).

Free for all arena and unranked? Thats no good way to show firebrand. But I agree this has lots of potential and lots of wonky mechanics that needs to be taken care of.

But we will if our change will be nerfing of DH to be in line of FB or they will actually change something.

With few fix that elite should be really strong.

I don’t think that nerf our best elite only to make the other one more in line with it can work. Also because be weakned while the class is well balanced in high levels isn’t a good move.

Roughly, the general consensus for most of the elites is it feels like Anet paid more attention to the form over the actual function of many of the elites.

Personally, I’ve always been interested in a spec designed with conditions in mind for guard, but was thoroughly disappointed. We can hope things change, but the most I expect in the coming month is number tweaks. Anything impactful will probably happen some months down the line.
