The cast time is 1.25s, so you timed it correctly at a little over 1 second. But the block timer is seperate and the skill will continue blocking for the full 2 seconds, after the cast is over.
hey so im pretty sure this skill doesnt last for as long as the tooltip says it does. it says the block lasts for 2 seconds but i timed it using a stopwatch and it definitely is below 2 seconds more like around a little over 1 second
can this be looked at?
