Hi guys,

a newbie guardian question about the positioning of the Wall of Reflection.

Lets say I have the boss in front of me and some other mob behind me, if WoR is between me and boss, the projectile from boss will not hit me but the ones behind mobs will hit.

Is this assumption correct or everything will be reflected and nothing will hit the group.

Or if I place the wall of reflection on the group how much we can stay in front or behind it so it will reliably protect the group.

Against most stuff you can stand inside of the WoR since it’s not a exactly wall but a rectangular field that pretty much has 2 walls.

Some stuff will still hit you if the mobs stand inside of the WoR aswell so just make sure that either only your party stands inside of the field OR only the thing you want to reflect and nobody from your party.

The wall has some thickness to it (it’s a rectangle, not a line), so if you stand inside of it you can get reflects against enemies on both sides (because you are in it and they are outside of it).

But placement is pretty critical – if you want to be protected from both directions you have to be exactly in it. Likewise your team has to understand how it works and be able to park inside it to shelter both ways. Ranged characters can do that sometimes. In most cases it’s easier for melee to just enjoy that you’ve got their back and for them to focus on destroying what’s in front of them before it kills them first.

I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
