2nd highest skill cap besides mesmer
the better the class lets me be the happier I am

I like survivability and i enjoy the protector/healing aspect of the class and people said to me if i wanted to do dugeons, i should pick a warrior or mesmer or guardian.

I play Guardian because I’ve been a Paladin since EQ1 and this is a Paladin.

Edited for additional info: The reason to be a Paladin is to be in the middle of the battle, while taking care of your team via small heals/buffs. It’s just what I enjoy.

I first made a guardian during the very first beta weekend, and didn’t like it for whatever reason and didn’t touch the class for months.

When the game was released, it wasn’t until my guildies were all making charr characters and pushed me to make one that I reluctantly made a Guardian.

By the time I got him up to 80 I was shocked at how stupidly effective guardians are in any sort of group situation.

And really, that’s the reason I keep coming back to Guardian as my main, even though I have 6 80’s, all with plenty of PvP experience. They are good at almost everything, plenty of build variety, desired in every game mode, and they are IMO the perfect force multiplier for any team-fight in PvP or in a dungeon / fractal.

Also seems to pair pretty perfectly with my girlfriend’s Warrior when she wants to run as a dynamic love-duo. lol.

Because it’s the most OP class in the game by far.

I play guardian because turning a defensive class into an offensive beast has given me some of the most fun in this game. It’s the only class where I can use mainly melee weapons and not get kited to oblivion.

Not to mention what mine can do to thieves should be censored.
