Guild Wars 2

Right now I run Phantasms in PvE.

I’m going to start running lockdown in PvP in the next few days, when I can find some time.

PvE/Dungeon: Phantasm
WvWvW: Blackwater condition/power
PvP: Blackwater condition

Pvp: zerker shatter
WvW: zerker shatter or lockdown

I tried phantasm builds but the playstyle is way to passive for me.
Im a really agressive mesmer and thats why i think shatter fits my playstyle best.

pVp-Bunker mesmer

Open World: Shatter. The massive burst dispatches mobs really, really quickly, and i love it.
Dungeons: Phantasm/Reflection. Good, sustained DPS and amazing support for my group.
PvP: Condition. I like it due to it’s survivability. In PvP, in general, i prefer to be in a tanky build.
WvW: Confusion/Reflection: Nothing like watching an entire group kill themselves due to all the reflects and stacked confusion.

I’m a relatively new mesmer but shatter all the way.

I found Kai’s Lazy Mesmer guide before I had a mesmer, and was so taken by the description of the play style, I created one just to give it a go. Hit level 80 just last week,

Schatter is the only mesmer play style I know, with full zerker trinkets, weapons and armour with centaur runes. Also pick-up a pvt armour set with melandru runes in case I want to do something else.

Open world – switch between phantasm dps and condition damage
Dungeons – phantasm dps
WvW – trolly PU condition damage

Open world – Vaguely power based DPS with greatsword. I don’t really think too hard about it. :/

PVE Dungeons – Phantasm/Reflect

WvW Zerg – Support/Mantra/Glamour

WvW Roaming – PU Condition

sPVP – Depends on the mood?

PvE (whats that?): Phantasm I guess.
WvW: Hybrid and Shatter are what I dabble most lately
PvP: Condi or Hybrid.
