Hi everyone, I’ve posted a couple builds before that seemed to go over ok before, and was told one by someone named Twinbladz on youtube that I’ve never heard of before. I was a bit skeptical about it myself but after playing it a couple games, it is just extremely powerful and I was able to take on some 2v1’s and win pretty often there.
The build: 4/5/5/0/0 – Scepter/Torch & Staff

Domination: V and IX
V – Crippling Dissipation – Snare every time a clone is killed
IX – Cleaning Conflagration – 20% cooldown off torch skills/1 condition removed with torch skills
Dueling: II and X
II – Phantasmal Fury – 20% phantasm crit
X – Deceptive Evasion – Clones when you dodge
Chaos: V and X
V – Debilitating Dissipation – Bleed, weakness, or vuln when clones die
X – Chaotic Dampening – Toughness and 20% staff recharge reduction
Now what makes this even better is the minor grandmaster traits. In dueling, it gives confusion whenever a clone dies. In chaos, an extra 10% of your toughness into condition damage. I’m using a carrion amulet as well, for condition damage and power. Rabid seems like it’d be ok and work for more condi damage with the toughness, but the extra power is nice to have in this build as well.
The amount of stealth with this build kind of works perfectly to give you room to cast phantasms, let you line up your casts, or force a torment block. Also with the torch, can stealth up for the burning, switch to staff and phase retreat out and force them to chase you. Which works well as they will almost always have torment on them. If they kill your clones, it won’t be any better as they will get cripple, bleed/weakness/vuln, and confusion all at once. And since you are stealth, they will more than likely have nothing else to do than kill the clones because scepter clones give torment, and staff clones do winds of chaos for all kinds of debuffs.
What’s even more fun, is if they choose NOT to kill your clones, and you have 3 up, if you dodge roll or spawn more your last clone will auto-destruct and that still counts as a clone death. And it’s an area effect, not a target, so you are very viable in a group fight as well. There may be things to change up as you see fit, but overall it is such a solid build. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
