Blink rubberbanding fixed.
I know I usually am screaming kitten at anet, but on the last patch cycle I noticed something which has bugged me since beta, it used to be that if you used blink while running it would rubberband you for a second or two after the blink finished. However, now it would seem that the rubbery effects are gone and blink is infinitely more fluid. On this I have to give kudos.
Out of curiosity, did anyone else experience a similar rubber banding on blink?
This post would look so weird to my parents. That aside, I dont think I’ve experienced that, or do you mean that you freeze up like a second after blink so if I blink up to someone else running I end up behind them? If so I thnk it was a animation stop/start thing that stopped the running for a moment. I can’t test my self now so I’m just guessing here..
It was an effect which seemed to make my character move back about 10 steps and took about a second or two to stop. It was something connected to the animations, which has seemingly been fixed in the recent blink changes. I know it has made blink a permanent feature of my utility bar, as before it was just annoying to use.
I have not noticed anything weird in blink. But the update gave an animation bug where skill animations does not always work properly. You will get the weird animations back when they fix the bug.
