I was just thinking of a idea if a debuff mesmers can use were the Hallucination debuff (from the toxic spores.) I found this debuff quite fitting for the class its like our illusion / phantasm mechanic but in reverse for the enemy.

Thought it would be pretty cool if maybe glamour skills when traited are able to apply this debuff (so the longer they are in the glamour aoe/ field they could trigger this debuff) and just change hallucination to a condition (even just recolour the spawns as pink monsters.)

idk just thinking of random ideas.

That’d be so awesome. A debuff which makes the target see excess tells and spell graphics would be hilarious.

Who do I need to consume, for this ability to become part of the Mesmer toolkit?

Possible, but this’d be less about visual clutter, more about misdirection. Say while I’m not actually casting stuff, my character would (from the perspective of the affected player) sometimes do casting animations.

Put that into glamour and glamour can make significant contribution to zerg fight again.

ah who am I kidding…they even put ICD on ONE confusion stack per blinding to avoid zerg glamours
