I am in love with halting strike.
If you work in a team comp that has lots of boon strips, then the added damage is nice, but running a shatter build the 20% on Wrack is just too good to give up for this.
You have to choose between Shattered Concentration and Halting strike and go 20 pts deep. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t amazing either. A shatter mes should be blowing up squishies anyway, so it becomes more of an issue of what will help your team bust a bunker better. Do you need more strips or more burst?
Don’t forget about the other side of dealing damage with an interupt build….interupts!
Not only are you dealing damage but you are effectively shutting a target down much more, which increases the survivability of everyone around.

to be honest 20% isn’t allthat much. honestly its stupid to go mental torment and haltingstrike due to stability. Halting strike damage I think if played right just adds more versatility to the build. but that’s just me.

5k sounds like a lot. Don’t care if you did or didn’t, but it does sound pretty high.
Hs vs. %20 mind wrack damage is valid argument I don’t know why thats a debate. It just depends on the variables. Trait distribution, amount of interrupts on hand, certainly a phantasm spec, and I’d also imagine a highly skilled opponent finds it more difficult (if they even pick up on it) to recognize and dodge the interrupt skill animations over clones sprinting at them.
The guy’s excited about it. Who gives a kitten let him be happy and move on. At least he didn’t come here with some build or idea we’ve known about since december and act like he was the scientist who first discovered It.

The question is, can a diversion shatter cause more than one interupt on a single target?
