It's a hard act to follow
This is a nice post to read. The key statement from your post was, “I’ve started really getting the hang of it and now i’m starting to really enjoy the game.”
If more people had patience and perseverance, then there wouldn’t be so much whining and nerfs being done.
The Mesmer isn’t a simple press 4 on GS or press 4 on Pistol and watch your phantasm go to work. There’s much more than that. And yes the Mesmer takes time to get the timing down and honestly it’s the one class where you truly need to know what your opponent’s tactics are.
I really wish that other players who play the other professions took your advice about taking time to learn and understand things. People want the easy way out and come on the forums to complain about Mesmer.

Yes this is the truth. But I also think it extends to all classes. Sure, there is always a flavor of the month ezmode build for any class, but playing the game requires the player to adapt to the unique mechanics of the class they play. If people want a game where there is just 1 ezmode build for every class and you battle it out, that’s a legitimate argument, but it’s not this game.
