Mesmer is not as fun anymore.
I’m not gonna lie, I am having a lot of fun. I finally feel like my power shatter/PU build is playing correctly. It was always “sort of ok” but now I can actually compete with other roaming classes.
I can still get completely wrecked, but at least I have a decent fighting chance against almost anything.

But I’m not, they are just the most broken.
When they can apply high stacks of every condition to you in the game at range in seconds then we’ll talk but all you are doing is making it obvious you havn’t actually played post patch.
No but they can down you in one shatter. If you need tips on how I am sure I can set up a lesson with my friend, he has done it to people in front of me to prove the point.
And that is different from any other burst build post patch? Oh right a Mesmer is doing it.

Yes please do walk away, hopefully you will jump in game and see what this new patch has to offer all the classes and come back with knowledge of the game but I Imagine you will just whine about how mesmer needs nerfs on the pvp boards instead.
I have been online today and all day yesterday. I honestly think you’re taking this too personally, if they find mesmer broken they will nerf it regardless of what you or I say, I don’t see why you’re fighting me like I am the guy in charge of balance decisions on Anet.
Mesmer’s damage will be nerfed, mark my words, more so than other classes I’d imagine.
Power creep isn’t good for the game. I am done, honestly you’re just going to give me another bitter reply after I have tried being reasonable and make baseless assumptions again. Maybe you should stop being so defensive and think outside the bubble that is your knee-jerk self preservation reflex.

If you were being reasonable you would give me actual proof that Mesmer is stronger then other classes other then ‘my headmates told me’, you wouldn’t be denying that every other class has got some ridiculous buffs and you would be asking that all classes get toned down to stop this power creep.

For the last time, I don’t play thief. I don’t understand how illiterate people gain access to these forums lol.
Same can be asked about people with no experience fighting certain classes. I think they should separate the forums based on time played for each profession.

Once again, the illiteracy is hilarious abundant here.
I said initially there were 3 reasons for why I came here to commend Mesmers on their stance of recognizing the broken state of damage it is in.
1. The humbleness of some Mesmers (as many of you have made it clear you will knee-jerk defend anything) encouraged me to thinking I could post freely and be met with reasonable people.
2. Thief forums never confirm they have something Op unless it is Shadow Arts, combined with the reason above I viewed it as pointless.
3. Mesmer is widely accepted it seems as the most broken right now, and I agree here, so there is a priority order.
Imo the Offenders work like this: (so refer to this for my opinions later if you ever do.)
OP Damage:
- Mesmer
- Thief
- Bugged Grenade Barrage skill which fires twice as many nades as it should on Engi. it is a confirmed bug.
OP Burn Ticks:
Engineer P/S
Guardian
Elementalist
Necro purely due to condi’s being so strong and it being able to transfer it.

It’s still truly actual skill playing.& i’m gonna enjoy every minute of it.
Nothing changed about the mechanics so this is false. Mesmer just got a flat baseline buff, which is why all of you with this mindset are succeeding.
This is how it feels to be carried by your class, enjoy it while it lasts. Almost every class has been there before and it ruins the reputation your class has.
