Straight to the point, which race do you think looks/plays really good on the mesmer? and wich race fits them Lore wise? If u could post a pic of your mesmer in a really cool armor it would be much apreciated. Sorry for bad english.

Love the look and animations of Asura in general, but I think human has the best cosmetics for mesmer.

Sylvari. Definitely sylvari.

Lore-wise any race works as a Mesmer. I picked Sylvari for mine because I had the idea of a villainous sylvari that used spores to cause hallucinations. As far as aesthetics the bigger races look more odd as scholar classes compared to sylvari, human, or asura. But I’d go sylvari, cuz … this:

Yea. Sylvari t3 chest(dem guido leaf-abs. We work out in the grove!) & shoulders (the shoulder guards grow out of his spine like a boss.) t1 gloves. Twilight Arbor pants & swords.

Charr, pretty much always for everything.

Don’t do it for Aesthetics, go Asura. The added annoyance and smaller animations makes it harder for people to pick you out.

The answer will always be norn!

But seriously go with aesthetics if you plan on investing lots in the character, in my opinion. Liking looks allows me to forgive whenever the current patch has my class weaker than usual to a larger extent.

Always Sylvari. Unless you want wacky animations, then Asura.

I personally prefer human because my main toon is a human mesmer, but Sylvari also works as well too.

Yeah, Personally, my Mesmer is a human.

My mesmer is an Asura. She’s little, cute, and makes other little cute things.
Personally, I prefer the armour for human’s, but I’d never trade in my itty bitty mesmer.

For WvW i would roll smallest asura possible. In PVE it is kinda irrelevant. I prefer human girl toon. They look best in light armor

My mesmer is also human. I mean you have the only elite in the game that can compete with time warp for usefulness (Hounds of Balthazar). Also you are a member of the master race. And you’re not a dirty charr, so there’s that.
