Patch is slightly better then I expected
They are not accounting for the stack limit and they are also assuming that Illusionary Inspiration is getting reset by CS.
Illusionary Inspiration is reset by CS, And yes what I said would be overstacking, my bad.
Anyways running it, I was having quickness drop after a while but I think my mistake is casting my phantasms too quickly as the refresh on Illusionary Inspiration is longer than the phantasms themselves, again my mistake there. I would get quickness for a minute or two then it’d drop for a few seconds before everything came off cooldown and I was able to bump it all back on again.
Anyways, so not quite as simple as just hitting everything off cooldown but I think my mistake is just having to time the traited SoI right. Does the trait’s cooldown reduce with Alacrity such that you could just match up the two?

I’m a bit sick lately so I don’t really feel like log into game and test this atm. Just curious, can you maintain perma quickness AND alacrity when running this?
Just slap on the build since its probably confusing when I explain it. But I drop time warp since it doesn’t seem necessary with well of action. And I wonder if I should slot improved alacrity since I might be a bit short on alacrity. Realistically I probably will keep 2 iAvengers at a time. Is that enough to assume full alacrity or should I swap WoA to WoR and swap gravity well with time warp?
P.S. signet of midnight is a must btw, I want to help tank some unavoidable damage like green AoE in VG.

If you keep 2 shield phantasms up, you’ll have easy permanent alacrity for melee folk. If you manage your swaps well, that’s permanent quickness too.

I thought you can only maintain roughly 80% uptime if only use 2 iAvengers (since they only give 3s alacrity every 7.6s CD), so I was wondering if those 3s alacrity from wells will be sufficient to cover the melee group throughout the fight?

So CS is on a roughly 70 second cooldown. Every CS cycle you will cast 4 heal wells and 5 wells of action, providing a total of 18 seconds of alacrity. This is 25% uptime, which combines with the avengers for a touch over 100%. If you spend any time with 3 avengers up (which happens in normal rotations), that’ll increase.

This is interesting post that my guildie shared with me, since you can share roughly 5s protection each time you use SoI. Combine with mimic and you should be able to maintain high protection uptime, and mimic+SoI+CS also make up for some of the lost quickness.
Just sharing this if the group need some defenses, it might be a very viable choice if you have no time to farm leadership runes.
I find Herald runes to be a good alternative and situational pick too. You basicly trade 1 offensive phantasm + the damage of recall for a high protection uptime. I’ll definitly get me those too.
