I was stating a specific situation where the GS is better, how much use is Crippling Dissipation if the target RUNS, It’s not. You seem to miss several of my points. The fact that the staff is “better” is based on PLAYSTYLE and thats it.

Sure if has a bit more potential if you are close for the bouncing and such. However if you LIKE (again PLAYSTYLE based) to be at Range – then what? I also disagree with the “good weapon, wrong gear” its NOT my gear thats the problem – its my Playstyle. I know that.

To get the most benefit from Staff and clones you have to be pretty close to your target, i like to be as far away as possible and kite them around. So while the staff is good (again based on gameplay style) I just find it to hard to get into the style required to make the most of it.

I have watched several videos of people using it, and i just can’t get into that style for it to be as effective

You run GS without power (20 points in domination are not enough) so gear IS the problem. You are missing a ton of damage using rabid instead of rampager or whatever.
Using zerker gear you lose bleed ticks (stacking still work well) and you gain huge direct damage. Using rampager you lose toughness and you gain both better bleed ticks (compared to zerker) and direct damage. Rabid simply kills the GS power for better bleed ticks that will be cleansed by any players with a brain.
PU and 30 in chaos give you enough survivability to use an offensive set.
I could also go ahead and explain why range is not what you should aim for but if you can understand why rabid is not that great with GS it would already be enough.

I agree the stat combo isnt the best if you want pure zerker damage. However the added toughness is very nice and I am in the process of changing some of the gear into more offensive oriented gear. The 30into Chaos and taking the stealth trait imo isnt enough against some of the zerker builds out there.

I am aimjng not to be pure nuke power without defence nor do I want to be pure defense without any attack. I like the Rabid gear as its solid defense added condition damage through the 5% toughness into condition damage trait and rune set and gives a solid crjt chance.
