Mesmer WvWvW Guild gameplay, followed by Necro gameplay at the end (Necro not played by me)

With all due respect, I’m not that impressed with the Mesmer’s gameplay. At all. Throughout the fights the Mesmer is seen on the sidelines doing little but dropping a Glamour and stomping Downed opponents.

Wouldn’t an off-hand pistol (Stun-daze-blind-confusion), torch (Retaliation and condition cleanse) or greatsword be more impactful than sword-focus in these fights?

Maybe, but since im the only mesmer in the guild I run a heavy glamour spec to be supportive, I’m not there for damage at all. I guess you could say I play the guilds glamour bot :I

I have traited focus so that temporal curtain reflects projectiles, and the pull from it is absolutely amazing and can screw up a zergs movement. with that said I don’t think an off hand pistol would be better or torch for that matter. GS in my opinion is just no no.
