What Is Our Strongest Weapon?
My bad, I guess I’ve only tested this for 100b and a few other abilities. If you try this with 100b or the ranger longbow skill, you will see that the damage is being added up.
You can generate the additive effect with things such as spacial surge and blurred frenzy, but no phantasm/illusion/pet/condition damage appears in the damage log.
I don’t know why I didn’t think of blurred frenzy, its my favorite ability in the game >.<
focus.
2 reflects
an aoe pull (master this in pve and people will love you)
swiftness
cripple
stupidly strong phantasm
… synergises brilliantly with mainhand sword; so sword+focus (pve)
- and im shocked that people still think cumulative damage is each single hit; look at the health bars >.>

if thats not how it works, y did i see those numbers over a timespan of 2hours over and over again? i must have some pretty bad visions or being drugged. even my m8 was then drugged.
maybe the puppets and all enemies in all dungeons from ac to arah were bugged too, cos i saw the same numbers there. warden ikittenting 12times in a row in 2 to 3 secs span continuously higher numbers
You’re seeing the right numbers. You’re interpreting them wrong. I’m not saying that the numbers are appearing incorrectly. I’m saying you’re not reading them right. Just because it says 3000 after he’kitten 8 times, doesn’t mean each strike now does 3000. It means the TOTAL DAMAGE from that ONE SOURCE OF DAMAGE (which has MULTIPLE STRIKES) is CURRENTLY AT 3000 DAMAGE.
Read on.
im just infront of puppets and my warden hits very often last hit over 4.
if this happens then the last 3 hits MINIMUM were around 3200 AVERAGE.
so count together:4200 + 3800 + 3500 + 3000 = 14500 only for the last 4 hits
worst cycles end on 3600 and it happens wiht same average than maximumat least 3 more hits are beyond 2000, so 20k is rounded DOWN.
just count the the lame rest together and i get my 20k in around 3-4secs.so u say evry single hit is summed up from previous?
Each hit’s actual damage / total hits = average hit damage.
(4200 – 3800 + 3800 – 3500 + 3500 – 3000) / 3 = 400
(400 + 300 + 500) / 3 = 400
Each hit is doing ~400 damage and it’s tallying 12 times. This is just counting the last four hits, if you want the true average damage to get to 4200 it would be 350 damage per hit.
Look at your healthbar. Have you taken a full Warden to the face? If so, how would you be able to survive 4200 + 3800 + 3500 + 3000 damage with JUST FOUR SWINGS?
The damage is ADDED. Looking back at the previous math you did (after reaching 3000 damage) 500 damage, then 300 damage, then 400 damage with your Warden’s swings.
It’s not rocket science.
Man if you guys are going into group situational stuff… then in other instances 1h sword is still going to add more damage. You would just need to have a lot of people taking advantage of that vuln that you’re applying without going into the vuln cap to outweigh the damage on the warlock.
But that’s all not realistic semantic silly stuff that doesn’t really matter with iwarlock/sword in these specific cases.
Also indeed, iwarden doesn’t do 20k damage. Just… lol…

kitten happens…^^
never did pvp til today nor using the testgolems.
was just wondering how dmg related math in pvp is working to mitigate that amount^^.
the only thing which made me supercurious was the swordsman damage hahaha…omg
and yes i never looked at healthbars of regular mobs nor did i know how much hitpoints any mob had. should have done it before. but i did yesterday haha.
should have reckognized the linear melting of the bar before when only warden ikittenting, but…
still canĀ“t figure out why they show damage additive and combatlog for phantasm dmg is not shown or y there is no real testing puppet in la.

iWarden, when allowed to do its full attack animation, can do about 7k damage on average.. at least for my berserker build.
In terms of normal attack (#1), GS seems to do the most.
Both of out underwater weapons are extremely powerful and every single skill on both of them is useful (which is rare). If i had to chose from ALL mez weapons i’d say the trident is the most powerful.
