Arale Gray. The name has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Male Asura: Lookai. My own twist on the spelling of lokì. Been my avatars name for over 12 years through all the games I’ve played. Lokì being the Norn god of mischief.

I consider that stupid, infantile and offensive and would report you tbh.

Some of the names people have come up with are pretty funny! Kinda makes me wish I’d tried for something witty. My char’s name is the result of some random keyboard mashing then trying to make it pronounceable.

Chrysomer came from an old D&D module, Egg of the Pheonix. It was the name of the Paladin’s Holy Sword.

Female Human: Moire Tierney Named the same as my Elementalist from GW1. Was going to be an Alt but is fast becoming my main. Leaving my poor warrior in the dust.

Best name in game I’ve seen so far was “Mesmerelda”

Sylvari Male Mesmer: Castiel Kyros named him for the reason qutoed below from when i posted on the sylvari name rating thread xD

I went with Castiel Kyros for my mesmer to keep with the 2 consecutive vowel rule and Castiel is an angle’s name which I figured would be fitting for a sylvari since their existence seems to be to be to watch over Tyria and protect it from the elder dragons corruption.

I named my mesmer “Doodoo Stain” because when I kill people in WvW, they end up getting a doodoo stain

Heh. I had a warrior named Multiple Charrgazms. I was asked to rename him by ANet mods lol so expect a little message from them in-game shortly.

Renaming toons was actually effortless and done at the character selection screen… which makes me think character rename tokens might be a possibility in the TP in the future.

I named my mesmer ‘Seras of Hellsing’, from Hellsing manga/anime.

I immediately regret it because she really needs to be a rifle warrior to fit the persona lol. I can haz character rename plz?

Sylvari mesmer: Liathra de Vries.

I was tempted to name one “Mesmerelda”.

But I named the asura “Sailears”, because of the way the ears billow out like sails on a ship, and I tried to make the largest ears possible in the character creator. ;D

i can’t believe anyone would report those names previously mentioned in this thread. i could say many words to describe doing so, but i wouldn’t want to get reported, even if it wasn’t really offensive.

It’s a tipsy typo of Caraighan Maconar, a briefly mentioned Green Ajah Aes Sedai in the Wheel of Time novels.

Female Sylvari: Alanna Grisel (named her after my beautiful baby daughter). This is (and will be) my only female char in the game.

DarlgonMesmer, of course. Just like in the other 5 MMOs I have played in 10 year. Darlgon(class) so i remember which main/alt I am playing.

My mesmer is a Human male named Karoush Santagar. An Istani decedent, he can trace his family history back to the Elonian merchants of the Santagar Trading Co. (If you haven’t caught on, I RP my mesmer).
