where is guide for Disruptor's Sustainment
Cause the trait is literally that bad. I’ve personally expended probably too many cycles trying to think of something that would be even remotely doable, let alone viable. Just a big blank where this trait is concerned. I honestly think the devs thought restorative mantras was better than reality, as that’s one of the justifications they used for usage.
Supcutie was playing thief today btw, not ranger. Either way, sad yes that Mesmer still hasn’t found it’s way into the NA tournament meta.
people even made a guide for condition guard build .
After many heart broken (today another hit , supcutie is playing spirit ranger in TOL, not a surprise ), Lets relax and have some fun from our uselessness and powerful healing skills anyway .
Here’s your guide:
Don’t.
Pyro that advice is amazing. But yea in all seriousness don’t even bother taking that trait. I haven’t even bought the trait yet haha.
Retired.
If they changed it so that it was 250 and it stayed with you until you were downed, I’d consider the trait for a support build. As it is, there’s just no use for it.
they should change this trait to something like 2-3k aoe heal on interrupt. that would make it more interesting.
I like the idea of just “adding” healing power via it, tbh.
I even think the current scaling would work out ok, or rather it needs to be equalized (I think Power, Precision, Toughness and Condition Damage – those 4 specifically – scale too well and are too impactful for a specific gameplay).
The issues IMO are:
- Short duration. Should be 10s.
- Should stack with itself.
- Should also apply regen to us, to force the HP to be useful.
well , i guess u guys missed the point

Sorry to say they did not miss the point.

Initially, I thought the trait might be useful when using Restorative Mantras. But even then it just fails due to its situational requirement and the horrible way skills scale with healing power.
- A longer duration might help but would still be underhwelming
- Stackability just bandaids the lackluster coefficients of healing power
- Additional Regen is totally useless with 30 Inspiration because you got Phantasmal Healing
The devs should just burry the trait and replace it with a Glamour trait. Howver, this probably is not going to happen. If they want to make it somewhat useful, I personally suggest:
- Meaningful self-heal on interrupt, maybe with small splash heal
- ‘Benevolence’ buff on interrupt instead of HP increase (see Aquatic Benevolence)
The Benevolence buff avoids the issues related with healing power while staying balanced because it won’t affect the Mesmer directly. The self-heal will ensure that the trait is not useless outside of pure support builds.

It’s sad because i wanted anet to bring a new support gm trait into the inspiration trait lie, could open some interesting pathways. However this trait sucks, it’s Far to situational to be of any use, it doesn’t synagize with any other trait or its self for that matter. I bought it thinking that there might be something we are all over looking and worth trying out, and I have never been more wrong.
The guide for this skill would consist of 1 word…….. worthless.
