I have finally tried every single build i could find while leveling my necro, BUT I am getting to that oh so glorious point of hitting 80.

Hybrid build is the way to go IMO!

Any advice or thoughts I am more than willing to accept.

I run axe/focus for start off, I just decided to use staff on other even though I can’t stand it.

I have noticed wicked damage along with some survivability. Any suggestions.

Mainly is scepter/dag better for condition side?

Look at Nemesis’s Hybrid Build in the tutorials, pretty much one of the best hybrid build.

I’ve tweaked it a bit for WvW, gained more toughness (10% more damage reduction) and keeping almost the same stats.

I agree with you that Hybrid is pretty much the way to go, it’s one of the playstyle I always come back to.

I’ve added food buff and modify runes so that you have 100% condition duration.
