January 27th Necromancer balance changes
I know it’s not ideal but it can be used occasionally as offense… I see where the developers thought it was ok but it only works if you have dagger 4, staff 4, plague signet, generosity sigils, or wop.

All of those are Important cooldowns though.
I dunno I think it’s stupid. I get the transfers or consume conditions, but it’s still stupid. Corrupt boon without one of those cooldowns deals 1k damage to you with a condi build. Which always happens, even if the skill fails or misses.
Oh trust me I don’t exactly agree with it considering some of the sustain problems we have. It was even more effective before when staff 4 cleared you and allies considering they designed the class with that and our original sustain options from beta and our deathshroud nerfs and hell even some buffs we got just got nerfed into oblivion. Yet we still have necromancers performing well in all levels of competition. Pretty amazing honestly.

One thing i don’t get is why are we necromancers designed around only optimal scenarios that never happen when it seems the rest of the classes are not?
Is it odd that Invigorating Precision for thieves is getting buffed from 8 to 15 percent scaling with critical damage, whilst Parasitic Contagion remains exceptionally low?

While we’re at it, it’d be nice if Parasitic Contagion was in a line that better suited condition damage.

Similar argument could be asked about Unholy Sanctuary. Why does it heal for about 1/3rd of what Shadow Rejuvination heals for.
Also remember thief has a smaller hp pool so they get far superior sustain with less healing than us. Id seriously love signet of vampirism passive to be like signet of malice. It wouldnt even be nearly as good as it is on thief due to our hp pool and lack of pistol whip.
