Hello everyone, I bought gw2 and the expansion about a month ago and in that time I got an engineer to 80 and played him a while, but I got a little bored so I decided to use the boost I got when I bought the game on a Necromancer.

I’m in level 80 exotic condition gear from the boost. I was expecting power gear and wanted to go reaper but It’ll take me some time to farm that many hero points. I already had them on my engineer from leveling so I could be scrapper right when I hit 80.

Right now I’m just using a Scepter / Focus and staff I believe with lots of summons.

Well, first, as necro you are uniquely capable of soloing most of HoT hero challenges. Each of those give 10 hero points, so your farming will take much less than you probably expect.

With the first setup with the minions what traits would you use? I don’t have reaper yet. I only have 2 hero points and it cost 30 to unlock the ability to even use it.

I want to end as power reaper, but since I have the boost its all 80 exotic condition gear. I don’t have enough gold to buy power and the condi gear seems to be working with the pets. However i’m just using the traits it assigned me when I used the instant 80.

It’s regular minion build. Full top line of Death magic, Blood for vampiric aura and transfusion. Quickening thirst becouse it makes every build better :P. Since you don’t have Rise yet, Reaper gonna be pointless for now.
