I think this is indeed a “L2P”, sorry. Minion AI is a well-known issue and our life steal via traits is underwhelming (but definitely present). Other than that, I don’t know what to tell you except, well, L2P. Every other point you are just wrong on.

Downstate fear no longer works, and even if it did work it would only work against 1 person for 1 second
I haven’t had a problem with it not working, make sure you are actually targeting the person trying to stomp you. While it is…interesting that some classes have multi-target counterstomps, we as necros are not alone in our single target misery.
Life stealing is down right a joke
While autoattacking a single target, lifesteal can be a little lackluster, but with wells and Vampiric Rituals, you can get about 80 lifesteal per target per well per second.
Death shroud is a joke
Second health bar, teleport, instant interrupt, and a solid AoE for all necros means the joke’s on other classes.
Poison damage is a joke
Poison’s main purpose is the -33% healing on your target. This can make for a nice bunker-buster on heal tanks and can significantly reduce any classes ability to maintain their health in an extended fight. This goes a long well with necro’s slower, grind-’em-down style of combat.
Fear is a joke
Yeah, interrupts are a joke. Don’t know why anyone would ever use them.
Pets do not attack what you attack nine tenths of the time / pets damage is horrible even with trait / pets life is horrible even with trait / pets life steal is a joke / pets are a joke / pet ai pathing is a joke
Yes, minion’s are dumb. Maybe intelligence is too much to expect from brainless globs of flesh, but they need to be fixed all the same.

Only good weapon necro has is literally the focus
Each weapon has it’s own purposes in different builds. I’ve seen every weapon type put to good use with different styles of builds.
Condition damage is a joke due to condition removal being op
Physical damage is a joke due to heals being op. It’s about forcing enemies to have that condition removal skill/trait, instead of something else. Not just that but even if they have a condition removal skill, then they need to choose when to use it. If you time that properly, you can apply your most potent conditions after they use their cleanse. If they choose not to use a cleanse, you DoT them into the ground.
Necros have the worst survive ability
If you truly believe this, then I’m sorry for you. Very high base health, some of the best condition cleanses, lots of blinds, good traits (yes, that’s right, I said it), reasonable heals, perma-regen with staff, need I go on?
GW1 necros had hexes but all of a sudden necros in GW2 never get them, where is my weaken and where is my insidious parasite?
This isn’t GW1, deal with it.

Well, downed state fear he is definitely flat-out wrong on (works 100% of the time as intended). It is also a 2 second base fear (and can easily be traited to be a downed skill that hits like a truck). I agree that some points are more arguable than others.
