I never forget that man, I actually think it’s a huge issue when terror damage gets blocked by stability and even made a comic about it. Is there no way for you to believe me and agree that there would be a lot of situations and possible builds that would be able to abuse this wall and make other players in sPVP scream in agony when they do not have that stability up? Sadly I do not know how other classes work but from my sPVP solo queue experience a lot of my encounters I can CC or chain CC my opponents. Even in a team fight there are a lot of moments when people do not have stability ready to even stomp. Some classes and builds seem to not have a lot of stability access so they are vulnerable to CC.

Azraeel, please stop making general statements and try looking into all the different possible situations.

Stability blocking fear is why the Corrupt Boon nerf hurts so bad. It was your prep skill for your other fears, would fear their stability and then open them up to your other ones.

Now unless Corrupt works on a priority system with stability near the top, its just a roll of the dice against some opponents, and if you don’t get their stability, you can’t use your fears till the buff runs its course.

You could run focus 5 to strip their remaining boons I suppose, but its getting a lot more messy with the cast time there and sacrificing OH dagger.

Well, I don’t do much sPvP because I don’t like it, however I can see why you are making a big fuss out of it. It makes it harder for your opponent to capture a point. However, most of the other classes already got ways to annoy you if you lack stability. Guardians using a hammer (Knockdowns), Shield (5# skill), staff (Wall preventing anyone from passing). Warriors can equip so many CC abilities (Stomp, kick, Charge…etc). Rangers can knockback. Engineers tons of knockbacks+turrets. Elementalists, Knockback with Air + Earth attunements. Mesmers daze, stun, and AOE fields. Thief, blind spec, however they never meant to be bunkers anyways.

Necromancers currently only have the Fear from DS and the Staff skill 5#. An extra CC won’t be OP in my opinion. We never know, they even might give it certain limitations like they did to Near to Death (30% instead of 50%).

Any of you guys play GW1? There were skill leaks like this all the time, and many were true. I remember when Visions of Regret was changed in 2009, and days earlier there was a leak saying the exact same thing. So I am inclined to believe this one is true.

Now that the official patch it out, just want to say I told you so. lol

I see no improvement at all ,all i see is torment and burning but thief and Mesmer’s are getting (burn ) as well is seems to me they way this game is going thief and mesmers are just getting more and more stronger no matter if their nerf or not

I see huge buff for WvW Nec Well PowerBuild.

I’m a bit baffled, considering that it gets, over the already strong base, stability/breakstun, CD reduction and the new spectral wall…but can’t say i’m not pleased.

Seafarer’s Rest EU – PvE/WvW – 8 × 80 chars.
Most used: Guard/Mes/War/Nec/Ele.
Yes, i use 5 chars at time. Because REASONS.
