Im trying to do a pvp/wvw power build and im wondering if you have any good builds? is it basically just DS crit stuff?

and for elites, would you take Golem or Lich? i think im doing it wrong because everytime i use lich it is extremely underwhelming and seems to do less dmg than my primary weps… I’ve heard you can like instagib whole groups, but it seems kinda bad imo.

and then what weapons do you take? Axe/F, D/WH, S…?

If you zerg, just take Wellmancer and enjoy pressing couple skills on call.

If you want to roam, however, close guides and craft your own build.

Hey there, for a power build you have the DS focused alternative (6/2/0/0/6 which is pretty much the standard power build. its a more survivable build IMO because of lots of LF) and the 6/6/0/0/2 dagger build preferred for dungeons/PvE.
You could also go 6/0/6/0/2 for more survivability but it’s not much better and IMO necro is the only proffesion who can go full glass canon because of DS.

And I forgot the weapons…
I like to pick the best mainhand and offhand for a power build (dagger/focus IMO) with staff because of the condi clear, fear, chill and better base damage for Life Blast.

Axe could work but I really don’t like it. maybe it will get improved with the new patch coming up but i’m not expecting a lot.

and the way i see offhands are:

-dagger (condi – condi clear/ blind/blead/weakness)
-warhorn (utility – daze/swifftness/cripple/LF regen)
-focus (power – burst/LF regen/vuln/chill/boon rip)
