[Request] Advice - Condi Necro Build
Well, toughness loses effectiveness on a sort of inverse parabolic arc, so after a certain point toughness just does less for you than vitality does. With that said, since you’re trying to go for a sort of “crit proc” concept, you probably can’t really afford to shed much precision, and there’s no other option with Condition Damage and Precision that doesn’t have undesired stats as well. Personally, I would say to balance Dire with Rabid until you get to about 33% crit chance, as that’s more or less the mathematical “sweet spot” that I’ve found between the crit procs and defensive stats. Otherwise, the build seems fine, although I might replace Unholy Martyr with Transfusion to help keep all of your goons alive longer.

I’ve updated the build with Sinister trinkets and weapons and Shaman armor. That’s dropped my toughness but increased my power and vitality. Your comment about Unholy Martyr seems correct. I’ll give it a shot.

That’s what I was using but Zero pointed out that Toughness doesn’t reduce condi damage.
Your first build was better.
For the effort in acquiring sinister gear, unless you’ve already done it, just use rampager’s. It’s obtainable with karma or badges of honor and works just as well. Alternatively, dire works and gives both vitality and toughness.
You seem intent on using minions, focus #4 can apply regeneration to them. Blind and weakness on the dagger off-hand doesn’t work on the enemies you’d want to blind or weaken.
Minions don’t work in wvw if that was your intent (based on your infusion choice).
