I’m trying to find a good damage build for PVE that also heals well. I’ve been using minions in PVE for a while, but was wondering what the best “leeching” PVE build is.
Also, would the same build work for Dungeons?

I was thinking 4/4/0/6/0, using Minions for additional damage and life leeching. I usually use Dagger/Dagger and Axe/Wh, adding in staff if I need to range. I like the quick damage that the dagger auto-attack does.

With 6 in Blood and a high crit chance I was thinking about life stealing on hits, minion hits, and crits. Fetid Consumption sounds good (although I have not tried it yet) for removing conditions.

For gear I was thinking either Rampager’s or Assassin’s for a high crit chance (with bleeding being my only condition damage), or maybe Rabid for more defense?

For Sigils, would Blood and Leeching be more healing than I need, or would they work well with a build like this?

Thanks for the advice

Zealot’s gear: Power, Precision, Healing Power

Based on what you’ve said, this is my take on it (assuming PvE).

A self healing build wouldn’t work in dungeons, but it’s decent with assassin/zealot for open world. But then again ,necros barely work even when specced correctly. I wouldn’t recommend those sigils as they heal poorly, but life on crit food is really great, even on its own.

If you’re on EU and need help to get into dungeons, pm me.

Self healing builds, especially with well siphon+crit siphon are so much fun to play in pve though:) And if you are full zerk/assassin’s your damage is still more than ok for dungeons

I give you the Vampiric Wells build, this build is good for pve zerg tagging, the more tags the better, using warhorn #5 as well as gives you a lot of self healing and tagging potential, as well as group support in dungeons via Ritual of Protection.

Other options include Staff for more aoe tagging and the Focused Rituals (curses VI) trait if desired (I’m often in melee making the well placement trait sluggish and moot). I usually start with axe #2 as I approach my target, then move in to dagger auto attack (procccing the sigil of leeching from warhorn), using the dagger #3, then #2 as needed.
