I was roaming Plains of Ashford and came across a necromancer that used a rifle. He did use minions before and i did not knew they could use a rifle. But now my question can a necro use a rifle or is he using an environmental weapon?
(I erased the name and guild, because it could be a violation of the forum rules)

Yep probably environmental weapon, theres at least one two rifles (sniper and that grenade launcher thing on the ice elementals) I can think of offhand and sure theres more. Not sure what charzooka looks like too.

And, some of the heart quests give you expiremental weapons to use as well. My favorite is in Iron Marches I think. The one where the guy gives you the grenade kit and you clear the cave. Normally at the end of a quest I dump their ‘weapon’, but with the grenades, I try and clear as much of the map as I can…those things rock (much better then the engi ones).

I at least never noticed a rifle like that in Plains of Ashford and i dont think that environmental weapons stay with you if you leave a zone.

Sillies, thats a charr elite skill I think and if it’s not a charr elite then it is a pickup but im pretty sure its an elite
