I know right? Wasnt aware you could change the flame colour, or perhaps its a different set entirely.

I thought you could through the dyes… never bothered with CoF Armor… looking at the minimap though, maybe it’s the sPvP Variant? So bought with Glory maybe? I don’t spvp either :P

looks like PvP Flame Legion set. which means you better get PvPing, since it’s a rank 50+ set and requires a crit on an arcane sliver

I had thought the PVP armor was all stuck in the PVP world… this screen shot is from the SPVP zone, but can you trasmute that look onto a PVE world item? Makes me with the COF armor did let you die the flames…. blue would be awesome too.

I don’t believe armor appearances go both ways just yet. I think just recently they began to allow for applying PvE skins to PvP items. I could be wrong though.

It would be appreciated for someone to post a screenshot of their cof set from pvp with perhaps a different colour.

sure it would. except 99% of PvPers haven’t reached rank 50 yet….

The comments say the armor changes color based on class, and it is PVP only armor. Though the name is different than the current Flame Legion PVP set, so who knows if it is still in game.

Wow… I always loved and hated that set because it looks pretty fantastic but due to the fact my arms and eyes are always on fire it was just an instant no no for me. Why would my necromancer, master of ice and death be on fire…?

If you could actually change the flame’s colors WOW would that make me go for that set.

this armor is from beta test…….you can have it but you cannot dye flames anymore which is lame I think dunno why they have changed it really…

Can confirm that in beta you could change the flame colors, here’s one I took from when I got it. Why they would disable the ability to dye the flames is beyond me. We can’t have nice things.

yeah it was some reward in beat in tPvP if I remember
but yeah I want to change colors of flames
we should make petition to add that hehe

Seems an odd thing to change, would add a nice bit of variety to the CoF clones… That, and it looks awesome!

Anet, now that we have the Lunatic Guard Outfit with the dyeable flames, can we get the same treatment for the CoF armor?
