So what do you all think is the best condition damage shortbow? I have been using the rampager stats (power, and condition damage secondary, precision primary) mostly because I can cover other stats easily and it fits in with multiple builds without too many sacrifices. I recently swapped all my runes to 2 centaur, 2 afflicted and 2 krait to makes use of the bleed duration (I’m on the fence as to whether it was worth it) and I use the sigil of earth.

With the recent addition of the giver’s weapons, I’m incredibly tempted to swap over. Vitality and precision as minor stats and a rare and difficult to obtain 10% buff to condition duration seems like an incredibly good deal to me. This new stat distribution looks like it might be the best option for condition builds, especially rangers who often use crits to apply conditions.

What do you all think?

The thing to note with cond damage durations is that there’s discrete ticks of condition damage.

For example, crossfire applies 3s bleed. If you have 30% increase cond duration, you get a cond duration slightly lower than 4s…which still means 3 ticks of bleed, and in effect that extra bleed is wasted.

Just something to think about.
