Whenever the “Clarion Bond” Trait triggers on pet swap, it casts the “Call Of The Wild” horn skill, giving out boons to allies.
The problem here is that my pet, which i just swapped into, is getting not a single boon from it. No might. No Fury. No swiftness. Nothing.
The pet is also not getting any boons from the “Fortifying Bond” minor, which should give the pet boons, whenever I get them.

Please tell me if thats intended or not. I don’t see a reason why it should be and it is just stupid, if a trait for pets doesn’t do anything for the pet itself.

At this point, I’m not sure what to call it. An oversight? Intentional? Feels like the pet not receiving the boons with Fortifying Bond might be a bug.

As for the pet receiving the boon(s) itself, it might be intentional since Vigorous Training works the same way. I’d like to note your pet does not gain vigor through Fortifying Bond as well.

Perhaps post this on the Ranger Bugs thread in the Bugs sub-forum and see if it makes it on the list? Maybe a developer or other Rangers can provide more insight.

I was running Clarion Bond a couple weeks ago and I swear it was actually working on the pet then, but I just tested it and yah, not working at all now.

If I had to guess, the reason is probably because its proc’ing Call of the Wild BEFORE the new pet spawns, which means all the buffs go to the old pet (essentially nullifying them the instant it actually swaps).

Like I said, I could swear it WAS working before. But maybe I’m mistaken and its always been broken. Either way, its definitely broken now and in need of a fix.

After reading this portion of your post, I had to go in game to test it out. Clarion Bond DOES indeed proc before the pet swap so the old pet does receive the boons, including any extra from Fortifying Bond. This applies to Vigorous Training as well.

Major oversight. Haha!
