Damage as a Druid (IDEA)
Made this suggestion a couple of days ago with my trait redux thread, I called it Scourge Healing and thought that it could either be PBAoE around the Druid or PBAoE around the person who was healed. It would require an ICD of 1s imo and need to be about 10% of the heal. If it also counted as a ‘strike’ that could crit, it would also have massive synergy with Sharpened Edges, allowing for Healing/condi builds.
The tooltip can be seen here.
I like the Concept though it would have to be some form of thoroughly tested scaling instead of a flat percentage modifier, as it stands if you build a druid with Full ascended clerics you end up with roughly 1550 Healing power (With Runes) and heal for 1.1k on CAF #1 Cosmic Ray, 10% of which being 110, insignificant damage that just seems irrelevant.
It needs to reward players who dedicate their builds to breaking this ‘Zerkermeta’ and building healing power.

But what about when you are healing 15 times in 1.5s with the Staff, which also heals you for 15 strikes, meaning its 30 pulses of damage in a single AA cycle. Throw in Sharpened Edges with reasonable precision and you are looking at 10+ AoE bleed stacks per AA too. Healing Spring in full Ascended Cleric/Delicious Riceballs/Monk would also damage for over 5000 in the AoE.
Now thats a bit too much for damage. I only suggest they change CAF skills to have some form of Healing → Damage, it would still allow for Sigil/Rune/Trait/Utility activation but maintain the focus on being a Support character. So its not overpowered but people can still keep up pressure in ways, Sharpening stone procs while in CAF for example.
Half of the healing from CA aa converted into dmg would be nice
