Guild Wars 2

Hello.My girlfriend started to play a ranger,so i thought of aiding her.Im also new to the game.If she is going mainly ranged with the pet,i wanna be more like a frontline dps.Aiding her pet and taking most of the damage,but still decent dps.What should i use?Guardian or Warrior?

Just play Ranger with her. Sword/Axe, Greatsword.

If you don’t have expansion I would take guardian because you could also buff other players easily. But both choices would be good.
