I purpose letting ranged pets ( like spiders ) shoot like a player with a good fast weapon shot speed so it can’t miss often ( unless using endurance to dodge ) and let the pet have a range of 1200 !
This helps with a ton of issues:
1) Pets dying in dungeons
2) AI issues, they have this AI in the game already with some mobs
3) Pets dying as much in WvW
4) Boosts the overall DPS of rangers in PVP
BUT!! What about my other pets
1) Tanks pets are still tanks PVE
2) Cats will still do more dps PVE
So this would make the ranged ranger pets be the PVP pet, and the other more for PVE.
This is a good easy fix to boost rangers now, until they can figure more stuff out.
