Let's Talk Synergy -- Ranger Style!

I thought it might be neat to have a thread where we can post about upcoming synergies for our class. A collection of ideas that we as a community have went “Oh, sweet, that’ll work well together.” Be it simple or complex, post your ideas here! I encourage using sources outside of the ranger trait lines here as well.

Examples to get the ball rolling:

— Moment of Clarity plus the new Storm Spirit active will create an AoE 6 second daze.

— Any runes that greatly increase Protection duration, when paired with the Protective Ward trait will result in about a 50% upkeep of Protection before factoring in Companion’s Defense.

— Pets with low cool down F2 abilities will benefit greatly from Go For The Eyes and Wilting Strike. Additionally, pets that already cause conditions on their F2 will be amazing for providing cover conditions. (Hawks will cause bleeding, weakness, and blind every 5 seconds!)

— Clarion Bond, Call of the Wild, and a Fern Hound with Invigorating Bond will pump the healing total of Healing Spring up drastically when it’s all used together.

There are tons of other synergies I can think of alone, so I’d really like to see what other people are coming up with.

Opening strike with sign.. Wait, right. They removed that one synergy they were soooo proud of during the last livestream.

Speaking of moment of clarity, wouldn’t surprise me if a daze caused by a spirit wouldn’t count, just like interrupts caused by pets don’t. We already know the damaging part of it doesn’t scale with the ranger’s stats. #AnetLogic.

- Windborne note (Regen) + call of the wind on swap (fury + swiftness) + quickness and 3 stack of might on swap (quickness is a boon now + might) . You want boon, you got them now haha….

-Rune of the evasion or rune of the pack + remorsless

- SB + S/D with poison master

-Quick draw + double LB + lead the wind = 6/9sec in stealth. aka 3 sec initial stealth + 0.33%(100 – 66%) *9sec (hunter shot cd) = ~3 sec cd before the next one. In theory we could do:
- 6/9 sec stealth
-3 sec window for rapid fire before going stealth once again!
At the cost of double longbow… Might be good for sniper build xD

-MoC + signet of the hunt + Hard hitting pet ability for a nice 200% dmg (and pray for a crit xD)

The dmg boni from MoC and SotH (and the bonus for the pet from Hilt Bash) do not stack. Unless they change this, which wasn’t announced (or did i miss something?).

Really? I mean flat improvement which means 50% more dmg on regular attack dmg + another 50%. I think it would works. Mathematical way of doing it this way: attack dmg + (attack dmg * 0.5) + (attack dmg * 0.5).

What would not works would be: attack dmg *1.5 *1.5. That is stacking for me.

Example for an attack of 10:
-First way: 10 + (10*0.5) + (10*0.5) = 20
-Second way: 10 * 1.5 * 1.5 = 22.5

I dont know if it is clear there… But i think the first option should work and not the second. Anyway we will see.

No change, MoC + signet of the hunt does not stack, they provide the same buff(attack of opportunity). But MOC/SOTH will stack with Remorseless +25% + 10% from hitting from behind + 5% from 2H trait. So theoretically you can get to 190% crit damage with 100% crit chance maul.
