So, we are getting a couple of sources of weakness with HoT and it is a pretty effective condition so I had a look at how much we could actually do.
We have;
10s/30s on 1 target from Weakening Venom on Cave Spider.
10s/40s AoE from Enfeebling Roar on Black Bear.
5s/30s AoE from Tail Swipe on every Drake (plus a blast finisher to blast poison fields for more)
4s No ICD from the Wilting Strike trait in BM.
6/12s from the Protective Ward trait in NM.
We also can lay down Vipers Nest and blast/leap that for more weakness and the Rune of Rata Sum has another poison field (Radiation Field) that could be used, plus more weakness and 15% weakness duration.
We can get some pretty nice uptime from those, but is it really worth traiting for since bosses get -50% duration? It may be nice for situations where it is not a boss mob but lots of high damge vet/elites? Probably, Protective Ward is ample, it is pretty good passive support really.
