People's Unrealistic Vision of AFG/CF Rework
Half of those things are already true. You constructed the post poorly. 1,3,4,5,7 are all true atm. 5/9 are true
Only thing I’d ask to change for PvE would be that Regen generates Astral Force. However, I am aware that this would not satisfy the PvPers since they want it for the condi cleanse, and possibly the superspeed and stealth on exiting it. Plus if they play pew pew/ power ranger, they’ll also want the damage increase for allies healed while they are in CF because it is a huge advantage in team fights to have all your landing attacks do 15 more damage (25% if also under the effects of glyph of empowerment).
Since I’m maining it healer and am already rather satisfied with what I can do with it although I would love to see the axe get some healing possibility since we have no main hand weapon that fits this role even though the warhorn is useable as a support weapon when traited, I already know that the changes that will happen will either not affect me in the slightest, or make me even stronger with it. What a lot of people fail to realize right now is that a support ranger in Fractals right now, if played well, can be in CF as soon as it’s off cooldown, every time, even though he should probably pop a few useful things out of it before getting back into it.

My wording is poor. I mean it as if the devs won’t counter balance some of the new stuff people want by meeting other elements. Like making CF easy to get into every 10sec but nerfing the ultra low CD on the skills. Sorry this is my meaning by keeping half of these things true.

All of those are tweaks. Nothing listed is even remotely a rework, just shifts in numbers or adding/removing an element onto the current version and not altering functionality.

Well, duh. Irenio is already evaluating data as is. No point of whining about devs being stupid and doing all of these changes without considering some sort of balance.

To be honest there never seems to be a moment of balance in this game, except when we’re on “top”.
Most recently it’s how strong DH is, before that Mesmer 100-0, Elementalist basically dominating PvP…
We could have a moment even if it was tweaked down again down the line.

Actually I was complaining about the Ranger Forum people crying about druid and wanting all of these changes without considering some sort of balance ;-)

I went with a different build in spvp because of the DH teleport entrap bombing I was receiving.

Not once have I seen a single post of a Ranger wanting large AFG numbers with the inclusion of the pet contributing to that. The pet contribution thread is also relatively new, and there was no mention on that thread either of increasing AFG numbers by the OP.

And yes people have asked for an increase in AFG in general. I can only assume they meant an increase of AFG % for dmg&healing tics.

Every weapon has a DECENT amount of life force generation and you get lf when you take damage. You also retain the amount you have when you leave DS.
Staff grants greater life force (greater marks) since you trait for it. <——— this is also a biggie since you get lf with or without it, and dmging is easier since all of staff attacks are AoE
And what you said, which is huge..

The most reliable change they can do is:
let weapons get a decent chance of generating AF, so we are not pigeonholed into staff, TU, regen or whatever
