Merge Signet Mastery into Beastmaster´s Might.
Most signet traits of all classes are just CD reductions, thats okay for adepts, but only SoR can effect us, without traiting SotB. The only reason to use this trait, without go 6 Points in MM would be have lesser CD on SoR, nothing else.
Merging them would make it more focused on playing Signets without loosing a Adept trait for it.
Now we have one Adept trait missing, as this line focuses around Signets, the Longbow and gaining effects when ur pet or ur foe are under special Situations, i suggest a new Trait:
Tormented Runner.
When your foe gains Swiftness, your next attack applies Torment. Amount of stacks, Duration and Cooldown are up to Balance Team.
Next Thing. MM is the Longbow Line. Many rangers dont like it to trait 30 for effects they think should be by Default.
My Idea:
Merge Piercing Arrows With Read the Wind. For me it would make sense, when we can shoot like machine guns, we should pierce the target.
Problem: it does not effect the shortbow, here would piercing by default make more sense.
Another idea would be making read the wind effecting the projectile Speed of others weapons too, not 100% like on LB, but maybe 33-50%.
With that we Need again a new master trait – hard work for anet.
for the fact that MM has a lot of good traits, creating a new one is difficult. My idea would be a trait around Vulnerability or gaining a shorttime of stealth (1-2s nothing more) to gain more synergy with Remoreseless.
Honed axeS:
this should effect Axe offhand too, Mainhand is more condition based, with that trait it would deal real good dmg on S/A power builds. A/A could only gain 225 Ferocity
Oakheart Salve: add Torment to Trigger it
Poison Master: Add a defensive Option against poison. Lesser damage from poison or lesser or maybe no (could be extremely strong) heal effectiveness decrease under poison.
Stability Training: less used trait. All in All maybe we should think about changing the Master BM traits in General. Since vigorous Training do not only effect birds, Moas and jellyfishes anymore, maybe the other traits for specific pet classes are obsolete. Stability Training could be changed to help the Team, small AoE Stability when the pet is disabled, could be great synergy with Shared Anguish.
Intimidation Training: The thought is okay, but fact is that the Majority of These F2 attacks are focused around chill, fear and immob. So some seconds of the applied cripple are wasted or doesnt help u (cripple on fear). It could be changed that all pet classes could benefit from it.
Rending attacks: for all pet classes, maybe lower Bleed Duration because Cats and birds have higher crit Chance then other classes.

well, tormented runner doesn’t make sense, technically you could apply torment to a whole zerg if you tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab…
and the others are very minor buffs to bad traits that wouldn’t actually solve problems imo… lol but I mean, its good to know that people are trying

Honed Axes could be changed to augment every mainhand axe skill and decrease the cooldown by 20%.
Ricochet – Bounces to one additional target.
Splitblade – Throws two additional axes.
Winter’s Bite – Chill becomes a small AoE (like Sigil of Hydromancy.)
I’d love to see Carniverous Appetite siphon health to the Ranger instead of the pet, or maybe both, I dunno.
Quick Draw needs an auxiliary effect. Maybe our arrows cannot be reflected with it? Might be too powerful.
tormented runner is inspired by predators instinct, with an CD it would just be applied to one foe, i hope this makes it clear, it is no zerg skill, more focused on small fights.
and the ideas to the less used traits are not to buff the ranger, but to make this traits more interesting, useful and logic.
the BM traits could give beastmasters in zerg fights more teamability they currently not really have
lower cd on A mainhand isnt needed, the skills are already really short for such skills, 3s chilled on 10cd is good and the amount of weakness on foe is great, lower the cd would has less Impact then u think
CA.. i know the discussion about it, but i can imagine in some builds it would be like a Healing signet for rangers, i mean cats and birds can crit so often, with BM even more and with horn we could Play a BM-Power.Hybrid build and are unkillable
QD, i read some weeks ago a thread about the idea to make our projectile chances higher, this trait could be a good place for it
Carniverous Appetite would have to be weakened to make up for the fact that it siphoned health. It shouldn’t be as strong as Healing Signet, but a couple hundred health every five seconds or so could have a big impact.
Higher projectile finisher chance on QD would be neat and could really make things like Rapid Fire better.
I just want something to be done about a few of these traits that do nothing for the Ranger and very little for the pet. Compassion Training? Expertise Training? Stability Training? Not only are these borderline useless, but they’re also completely unfun.
Tormented Runner wont work as you described it, maybe make it more “Shoot to main!” When you apply cripple you also apply X stacks of torment for Y seconds Z ICD (per target)
Also, leave piercing arrows off RtW, you should have to choose between the combination of EE, PA, and RtW, otherwise LB becomes stupidly OP really fast. That being said, I would not be opposed to RtW making ALL projectiles have double velocity, and make make it so they also deal more damage, atm the trait isn’t really “Grand Master” worthy (master yes), so either buff it, or move it imo.
The Sig of the BM +BM might would be too strong for a master trait, if they moved sig of the BM into master level and buffed BM might and moved it to GM that’d be a whole other story though.
I was just thinking the same thing about remorseless the other day, they need to make another trait or SOMETHING to give us stealth so that it can be used with more than just LB, because atm it kinda sucks…
All your other changes I agree pretty heavily with, poison master would be OP if it got buffed though, it’s already strong, it doesn’t need more. Now if they added ANOTHER trait somewhere else that made poisons reduce healing more? That’d be awesome!
