well promises broken no surprise wvw not even an option anymore with guard nerfed pets will still die in 4 hits from anything. Our own damage half of what any other class does for a standard attack. Am I missing anything that will make me viable in Arah explorer or fractuals. Nope You screwed us over by not listening to the forums at all.
Well till its fixed gonna go play something else i guess.

I’m waiting for elder scrolls online. Playing a bit of Planetside 1 even though it’s pretty much a ghost town. Just can’t take the ranger profession anymore.

To be honest, the only thing they really nerfed was guard, and who used that outside of WvW other than to take towers and keeps? It was a pretty niche usage base to begin with, and that nerf doesn’t change anything. If you think it does, then you’re crazy.

well they nerfed emp bond also.

however the point is that they listed(4 months ago) all the many things that are sub par and need to be fixed. a class with that many problems should not get any kind of nerf until they at least fix some of the sub par stuff.

Emp bond I always felt was a little too powerful. And I agree, they should buff us before nerfing anything. Personally, I’d start with the weapons and then go to the traits next, especially considering the damage from the LB is the same as the SB, which makes it less useable. Plus the GS damage is pretty subpar.

Guard was being abuse (Guard + search and rescue). If this was the only reason your were playing a ranger and feel you can get nothing else out of the class. Then it is probly better that you leave this class.

I main a ranger becuase i feel it takes more skill to be a good rangerand I enjoy playing it more than any other class.

We got a couple of buff and they didnt touch trap rangers. Which alof of you thought was going to happen.

So no as Rangers we are not screwed. If Guard was the only thing that gave your ranger mean then you my friend are screwed.

We got a gain, to an offhand axe ability that was used by 5% of rangers in the first place, probably not even that much used offhand axe. I’m sorry, you’re trying to justify this patch and there is no justification. We got kittened, it’s simple as that.

Pet swap cooldown doesn’t trigger when OOC.
