SB ranger?
Sb is a kind of hybrid weapon. The AA doesn’t hit very high, but take into account the bleeds, the total sum of damage is around average, and you can stack quite a lot of bleeds with the AA alone. For roaming I personally love the S/X combo. I don’t however usually ever take torch or axe. I don’t find off hand axe good for roaming, and torch is more pure condi based IMO. So I either take dagger or warhorn. Whenever I take warhorn I usually take healing spring, this gives you a leap and a blast to be used in conjunction with the waterfield resulting in more healing. With dagger the heal is really up to you, but dagger allows you to get perma poison, which is extremely effective against anything with passive regen.
A build I use for wvw roaming is something I was messing around with and decided to test out. Turns out, it’s actually quite effective, much more effective than I had thought when making it.
The build isn’t perfect but it’s still quite effective in duels and roaming. The combination of bleed on crit and steal health on crit allows for decent sustain as well as decent bleed pressure. The CC from both pets coupled with evades on weapons allows for some great kiting. I have won fights without taking more than 3 hits due to kiting and the CC. The second utility is up to you. I often run SoR because of the plague known as condi specs in wvw, but sometime I run SotW for the passive (once patch hits I will most likely stick with it as the active is very, very nice). Against theives I run sic’ em, i just try and swap utilities quickly if I see one approaching. Also that build is not perfected either, some of it was restricted by money. I wanted strength runes but at 11g ea that wasn’t happening on a build I was testing, so I went with parrot runes, which tbh work quite well as a substitute. Geomancy was also a cost issue, I would take battle or energy over that any day.
